A short description of the early days of independence and USSR:

In connection with the establishment of the Navai region in 1982 ,with the purpose of providing health care system and the population with medicines and medical supplies, pharmacies Department of State of the Republic of Uzbekistan in June 4, 1982, on the basis of Order Num.10 dated Drug Administration. Highly educated Amon Khusanovich,was appointed as the chairman of the Board of pharmacists in the years 1982-1984. From 1984 until 1987, Muradov Yovqoch Karshibaevich was appointed as the head director.From 1987 to 1998 Khisamutdinova Khalifa Sultanovna,in the years 1998-2004 Gulam Rizaevich Orziev, 2004-2007 Umar Kuvvatovich Aliev,From2007 till 2012 Anvar Yunusov Xaydarovich , from May 2012 to November 2012, Ochilov Ilham Eshpulatovich .And Rasulov Yorqin Gaffarovich has been ruling“Navai Dori-Darmon” open joint-stock company from November 2012 to the present day.

Navai region was abolished at the beginning of 1987, then being a part of Samarkand region , at the end of 1989, part of Bukhara region.According to Num2 / Order Num. 1 of UzGAPU in January 16,1989 Drug Administration took the name Navai TPP 'Pharmacy' . In February 1992, it was changed to a regional "Pharmacy" production association. In April 1994, according to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistanin 11.03.1994,order Num132 the process of the privatization of pharmacies began.On the basis of the order of«Dori-Darmon» DAU Num 171 in 29.09.94 "Dori-Darmon" was renamed to the public joint-stock company and the community shares were issued and sold to social workers . As a result of the activities and efforts of «Dori-Darmon» authorities and workers,on the purpose of creating new vacancies, 'Avicenna' commercial production firm was established. "Navai Dori-Darmon" joint-stock company on August 6, 2008, Num. K-1270/08 and registered in accordance with the Charter, was changed to"Navai Dori-Darmon" open joint-stock company.

In accordance with the establishment of Navai Province Drug Administration in 1982,3buildingswhich belonged toNavai nitrogen factory, were allocated for medicines and medical materials warehouse and a laboratory for quality control of medicine.New pharmacists and pharmaceutist specialists were involved in the region. Around that time in 1982, Navai regional pharmacy department included 61 pharmacies and 98 pharmacists, 63 pharmaceutist specialists.There was not a separate building toRegional pharmacies Department, thus, on the 5th floor of the clinic appertaining tothe provincial health department's,4 rooms were allocated to the authorities and accounts . X.S.khisamutdinova led the region to improve the supply of medicines, in order to create the material and technical base of the pharmacy storage allocated to the project on the basis of 1.5 ha, since 1989 construction began on the ground and completed 1991. Management departmentbuilding project, 3 drug storage warehouse, parking, equipment warehouse, laboratory building, containers and utilities, the oxygen storage building set in a short period of time to put into operation. At the same time, it is necessary to stress the relevance of the regional executives during today's special services.

After independence in 1991,the system of pharmacy reached major changes. In Kyziltepa, Kanimeh, Khatirchi Districts two-storeyed,in Karmana and Nurata districts modern pharmacy buildings were built which meet up-to-date requirements .The number of pharmacies expanded to 84.New pharmacies operating in remote desert regions of rural outpatient stationswere opened. During the years of independence an increase in the number of pharmacies led to the demand for qualified pharmacists and pharmaceutists.
